1. Use Travel Kits/Cubes To Conserve Space In Your Luggage
Packing is definitely a tricky part of the travel experience and should be prioritized in advance. You don’t want to be stuck last minute at home removing things from your luggage, or even worse, at the airport. Getting travel kits/cubes can help condense the space that your belongings will take, and help fit everything efficiently. From shower products to makeup, to clothes, this will give you a better idea as to the space you’re working with before you start to cram everything into your luggage. It’s important to be cautious and considerate of weight as well, to avoid any overweight fees upon arrival.

2. You Can Take Up To 3 Oz’s Of Liquid On Board, Including Alcohol
This is something that many people are confused about when considering what to bring with them on their flight. You are in fact allowed to bring 3 ozs of liquids on board with you, which includes water, juice, alcohol, or any other liquid. The volume will be calculated by employees when you arrive, so it’s important to be aware of how much you’re bringing ahead of time, to avoid confiscation. The one and only exception is baby food, which can be included in larger amounts, only if you travel with the child. It’s important to note that although alcohol is permitted, it is prohibited to be consumed while on the flight, as it can lead to potentially dangerous circumstances.

3. Consider Late Night Flights For Easier Travel Experiences
Statistics show that during late night flights, there are fewer passengers and fewer travelers with kids. Naturally, we’ve all had experiences with babies and children crying or making noise, that kept us from resting on flights. At night, flights are also less delayed, and your wait-time in lines will be condensed. There is also a lower level of turbulence because the air is fresher at night and there is no sunshine either.

4. Choose Your Seat Ahead Of Time On Your Airline’s Website
Your airline’s website will always include a seating map, and though it may come at an extra cost to book in advance, it would be wise if you require special seating or have a certain preference. Emergency exit seats will have more leg space, as well as the seats at the very front or end of the aircraft. Children are also usually sat in the front, where flight attends first begin their service of food and drinks. Additionally, the jolting is less in the middle of the airplane, and the seemingly endless line for the washroom is usually going on at the back of the plane if that is something that can potentially bother you.

10 Everyday Things You’re Definitely Doing Wrong In The Shower

Hygiene and cleanliness are two important aspects in both appearance and also the maintenance of good health. From eating right, to showering, to regularly washing hands, there are many things that we can do to ensure that we are somewhat bacteria-free. Even though showering and bathing have long been associated with the cleaning process, there are several things that we may be doing wrong.

From when to moisturize, to how you dry yourself, here are several ways that your cleaning process might be counterproductive.

Here are 10 everyday things that you might have been doing wrong in the shower.

1. Some people are under the impression that since water and body soap are running over their feet, there is no need to put in direct cleaning work on those stinky feet. But that is a huge no-no.

Getting in between your toes is essential when cleaning because that is where germs and bacteria can fester. Make sure to use a loofah or a cloth to clean and scrub your feet and be sure to wring those towels out!

Furthermore, if you’re using face wash, that’s probably being mixed with your shampoo and/or conditioner which may cause adverse effects because it confuses the skin and affects the quality of the product. And lastly, an excessive amount of water while washing your face can lead to dehydration!

3. This one may be a little more obvious but they are loofahs and razors. These two bath products are designed to scrape your skin and remove dead skin cells, germs and bacteria. Without properly cleaning your loofahs and razors, these two items can be a breeding ground for germs!

All of that yucky stuff you were trying to get off you is transferred to the loofah so be sure to wring it out! Make sure any items that touch your skin (pumice stone, loofah, razors, etc.) are completely dry the next time you hop in the shower.

4. As mentioned earlier, the temperature of your bath water can be influential on the condition of your skin. Too much water or too high of a temperature can be counterproductive to the moisturizing process of the shower.

Skin experts recommend that your shower stay lukewarm and then for the final 5 minutes shock your body with a dose of cold water. I guess ice baths do work?

5. Some people who work out in the morning or during the midday might wait until it’s night to shower all at once. Maybe in an effort to reduce water or because they’re too busy, doing so can actually be harmful to your skin!

Britain’s Youngest EuroMillions Winner Says Her Life Sucks Since Winning The Lottery

The youngest person to ever win EuroMillions, a lottery in Britain, now wants to sue the lottery bosses for ruining her life. According to reports, Jane Park, who was 17 years old when she scooped the jackpot with her first-ever ticket (come on!), is claiming negligence against the very people that made her an incredibly wealthy teen.

Lottery winner Jane Park, now 21, says 17 was too young to take home $1.25 million with no guidance. According to the UK Mirror, Park felt that at 17 she was too young to deal with sudden wealth and what seemed like the ultimate prize at the time has now become a curse.

“At times it feels like winning the lottery has ruined my life. I thought it would make it 10 times better but it’s made it 10 times worse,” Park told the UK Mirror. “I wish I had no money most days,” she admitted. “I say to myself, ‘My life would be so much easier if I hadn’t won.’” Many might roll their eyes at a teenage millionaire complaining about the downfalls of living a wealthy life, but Park brings up an interesting perspective. Coming into that much money at a young age can definitely be confusing and overwhelming, especially when you’re not guided in the right direction.

Compared to the lives of her fellow 17-year-old friends, her life was completely changed. Park told the paper she became sick of shopping, missed working for a paycheck and has struggled to find a boyfriend who isn’t using her for her money. Before Park won the lottery in 2013, she made $10 an hour working as an administrative assistant and lived in a modest apartment with her mother in Edinburgh.

Now she owns a purple Range Rover, two residential properties and has traveled the globe but still struggles with feeling empty inside. “People look at me and think, ‘I wish I had her lifestyle, I wish I had her money,’” said Park. “They don’t realize the extent of my stress. I have material things but apart from that my life is empty,” she shared. Park said having it all has only made her question what her purpose is in life. Now she plans on filing a lawsuit against UK’s National Lottery, arguing it shouldn’t allow kids under 18 to play.

You can’t give a 17-year-old that amount of money,” said Park.“I think 18 should be the minimum age for winning the lottery, at least. The current age of 16 is far too young.”

Cloud seeding brings rain, cold winds to UAE

Four planes on standby to seed overcast skies to improve chances of rain.
Chances of rain will be little in the next couple of days but expect more rain to come throughout the month as the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) is continually conducting cloud seeding in various parts of the country, a senior official said on Tuesday.

Speaking over the phone with Khaleej Times, Omar Al Yazeedi, NCM director of research and development, said that successful cloud-seeding missions over the last two days brought rains since Monday night until Tuesday morning in some parts of Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah.

“Every day, from morning till night, we are always on the look out for ‘seedable clouds,” Al Yazeedi said. “The UAE is one of the first countries that is using cloud-seeding technology.”

“Cloud-seeding missions are carried out when there are cloud formations and we have sophisticated radars to spot them. We have four planes readily available to fire special salt flares to spread sodium chloride whenever there is an overcast sky to enhance the formation and release of cloud moisture into raindrops,” he explained.

Mercury is also going down. According to the NCM, the lowest temperature on Tuesday was 3.8°C on Jebal Jais at 3.45am. The minimum temperatures expected until Thursday will be between 11°C to 17°C in coastal areas, 7°C -15°C in internal areas, and 5°C -11°C in mountain areas.

“The temperature is expected to drop over the next couple of days. We encourage everyone to take advantage of the fine weather and enjoy the rain. But, of course, safety is a priority – motorists should drive carefully and should stay away from valleys or wadis where flash floods might occur and everyone should be ready by carrying umbrellas,” Al Yazeedi told Khaleej Times.

Meanwhile, scattered rains are expected across the country until Wednesday evening and the amount of clouds will increase over scattered areas of the country, associated with convective clouds and rainfall of different intensity, according to an NCM forecast.

Craftsmen Around The World React To H&M’s Controversial Ad

The acclaimed dress brand H&M has as of late distributed a promotion for its new hoodie that peruses “Coolest monkey in the wilderness.” Sounds guiltless, yet the purpose for all the outrage it caused was a dark kid displaying for that advertisement, which was not generally welcomed all around the globe.

A few people asserted that while the advertisement was presumably an oversight, it was likewise very hard of hearing and harsh. In South Africa it even brought about consuming, destroying and taking garments from H&M’s stores. Specialists around the globe, in any case, responded in a way they know best – they transformed the hostile hoodie into something positive by making delightful centerpieces. Look down, vote in favor of the best and include yours!

Model Loses 150,000 Followers After Posting ‘Brutally Honest Photos’

Natalia Lozano goes by ‘Curvy Natalia Lozano’ on Instagram. Unlike most other models who sport a rock hard pair of abs or a super tiny waist, Natalia is a Spanish plus-size model. Her Instagram account had more than 150,000 followers before the brass over at the popular social media platform decided to shut it down.

While there are many reasons as to why Instagram would disable an account based on their code of conduct, Natalia believes that she was banned because of people hating on her body-positive message.

Natalia vows to never end her fight against stigmas and stereotypes and to continue her fight for people of all shapes and sizes.

She also said that there was a concerted effort from certain people to continually lodge complaints against her.

Natalia said: ‘they cannot stand that I am sexy and confident. They call me fat and vulgar and accuse me of hypocrisy because I touch up my photos.’

She believes that the ‘hypocrisy’ and stigmas associated with plus-size models are more prevalent in her home country of Spain.

The moment you stand up as a sexy plus-size woman, you are judged and censored. However, in the United States, for example, plus-size models have lots of followers and are more widely accepted than in my own country.’

11 Times Actors Didn’t Just Act—They Expressed Real Emotions

It’s a well-known fact that some of the greatest performances that come from actors are ones that are grounded in acting with real emotion. Acting with emotion is no easy feat. Some of the best-trained actors in the world struggle with getting to the center of a character’s true personality.

Occasionally, actors get so caught up in the moment they are playing out, they can forget their surroundings, lose sight of what they’re doing, and on rare occurrences, they end up hurting themselves in the process.

There are many different methods for bringing a character to life through acting, but we won’t get into that today. Acting and theatre have been around since the earliest recorded histories in Ancient Greece, and will no doubt continue to be an integral part of our culture for years to come.

The following 11 actors and actresses had scenes with such raw emotion that they ended up acting with real emotion. Their expressions come through on camera, and they continue to act.

1) Charlize Theron – Snow White And The Huntsman: While filming many of her ‘screaming’ scenes during Snow White And The Huntsman, it is reported that Charlize injured several of her abdominal muscles. On top of her heavy jewelry, uncomfortable dresses, and sharp crown, her misery isn’t just acting on camera, but in actuality.

Universal Pictures

2) Michael J. Fox – Back To The Future: Part III: During one of the takes while filming the ‘hanging scene’ when Michael J. Fox’s character “Marty McFly” goes back to the wild west to save Doc Brown, the rope reportedly malfunctioned, accidentally choking Fox. You can see his real agony during the scene which they kept in the film.

Universal Pictures

3) Leonardo DiCaprio – Django Unchained: During the infamous “table scene” DiCaprio slams his fist into a glass, sending shards everywhere (including his hand.) While bleeding from his wound, DiCaprio continued acting, using the cut to fuel his emotions during the scene. Talk about dedication.

Columbia Pictures
